Atmosbeer- Bar app concept

TASK: Pitch a new app idea that solves a real life problem. Work presented to Carson York, Global Nike+ Launch Manager.

PROBLEM: Finding the right bar with the ideal atmosphere wastes precious time that could be spent making the night one to remember.

What keeps us from having fun as soon as possible:

• Trekking all the way out to a bar that was bumpin' thirsty thursday, but dead on tequila tuesday.
• Filtering through social media to hopefully find information about happy hours/deals.
• Friends are too distracted to answer their phone so you can find them.

SOLUTION: Atmosbeer: By compiling real-time information on friend location and working with local bars, this app helps you successfully save time and aggravation when planning your night out.

With access to your phone's contact list, Atmosbeer provides a map of local alcohol-selling establishments with indications of how crowded each bar is in real-time as well as how many of the patrons are your own friends. By working with local bars(monthly fee), lists of specials, flash deals, and events going on would be posted nightly in one spot. 

DOESN'T THIS SUPPORT DRINKING A LITTLE TOO MUCH?:  In the future, we would love to see the app partner with Uber, DDS's, and taxi services to ensure easy access to a safe and discounted ride home.
