Hey there! I’m Maddie.

Born and raised in Oregon. Based in Portland.

I lead all marketing at 1 Second Everyday, the video journal app, overseeing brand, content, and organic and paid growth strategy. I love helping products stand out through storytelling, authenticity, and community that actually lasts.

Alongside my full-time role, I co-founded Reading Journey, a low-pressure book tracker built for people who love reading and hate being told to read more. Building something from the ground up and doing it publicly alongside the people who use it has been one of the most rewarding things I've done.

Outside of work, I'm someone who collects social media accounts. I've built personal channels ranging from nostalgic comedy to my cat’s crazy zoomie episodes to documenting my guitar-learning journey. It keeps me close to platform shifts, emerging trends, and what it actually feels like to be a creator. Which, honestly, makes me better at my job.
